Welcome to our new digs, boys. In each thread, you’ll see where the shoutbox is located. I will reach out to our webbie for help on some things including having the members page in the header bar show all members, having the messages link show you when you have unread messages and having recent posts, as well as recent topics.
I’ll also look into how to integrate these and other things into our site to improve it but let me know if you have any additional questions and we can crowdsource whatever answers we have. I know James mentioned he was looking for help translating bbcode so I’ve asked him to share what he found.
June 9, 2021 at 10:10 pm #1373it’s actually a lot of work if you don’t already have your roster in a bbc code table. if you copied the bbc table for your roster from the old site, message me and I’ll give you the fix. I don’t think it looks any better fwiw.
June 9, 2021 at 11:34 pm #1382I saved mine with the codes but it’s not working here.
June 10, 2021 at 12:00 am #1383I will ask Webbie if bbcode can be added
June 14, 2021 at 4:00 pm #1463I’ve installed a few widgets to help provide a few things I felt were missing. I broke the members link which I wanted to show a full list of our members so I’ll work on that. I installed THE BBCode plug-in but I don’t see that it works. It’s called BBCode Deluxe. But I’ve found that it doesn’t do anything. And when I’ve googled a BBCode translator to translate to html and post, a lot of the html that it uses doesn’t translate here. So I’m still trying to figure that out but I’m on it. But that should only affect making rosters look cool and stuff. The important thing is to get our rosters posted and get everyone up to speed so that we can post Round 1. Still a few outstanding members.
June 16, 2021 at 3:39 pm #1480My experience with phpbb code is super limited, bro. I remember asking PP if I could copy his roster page table the first time I made my rosters. I still use them as a matter of fact! I remember html a little more from school though so I feel comfortable trying to convert my rosters to html. There’s a site I’ve used before that is very useful and wanted to share. This site lists active html codes. I used to use it all the time when I was helping my family run a business website. It got easier once websites started to integrate interactive page building. But I’m using this link to get help with tables. If you click “try it out”, it will open up a live preview page to try out codes. I have a copy of my rosters which are in progress but it is a big help. Once I’m done anyone can copy my code and just replace the text if they like it enough!

admin: apologies. Post re-instated.
June 16, 2021 at 8:02 pm #1483Not sure what happened to my last post but here’s a few links I used to make my roster. I’m not an html expert but the site made it really easy and feel free to copy my code! My roster page turned out better than I had hoped https://www.dynastyliga.com/forums/topic/standard-liege/.

You can try it and preview your changes as you build a table. Worked out!
