In all honesty I have a set list of players I target every window and will try to do everything I can to get them (either through countering someone else, offering a trade or even countering myself 😉). It doesn’t matter who bid, I’ll counter if I want the player. Some will say it’s not the gentleman thing to do or whatever, but building the team I want and trying to win with that team is all the fun. I don’t want to with a backup plan unless I have to.

So it’s nothing personal against anyone. But yeah, I certainly don’t mind countering some managers more than others (not naming any names)

If Blau countered me, I knew Dani would be on his radar, so I’d make sure it wouldn’t be easy for him to get his targets 😈

Yeah, I think the days of “not countering” are over. The league is just simply too competitive and we have too many savvy owners who know what they’re doing for the most part.

Also, not trying to jinx me or anyone else’s bids, but the more you pay for a bid, the more the probability it will become a bust. Most people here haven’t been here long enough, but I once bid 4 mil on Guillermo Varela…
