after watching denmark-russia and finland-belgium at the same time, I am emotionally spent.
and i’m gonna have to do it again for sweden-poland and spain-slovakia. I hope my heart can handle it.
Sweden wins! You get more ABBA in the cat dresses!
The Dutch had a cakewalk of a group and now have pretty much an easy path to the semis where they’ll most likely have to face England or Germany who aren’t the toughest competition compared to the other side of the bracket.
Belgium will have to go through Portugal, Italy and France, just to make it to the final…just…awesome.
Hoping Belgium and Denmark can have a good showing. I am pulling for them
X
I’m looking forward to a Sweden v Denmark semi-final.
Looks like those Dutch cakes were laced with hashish.

Unreal result. I guess no one should be surprised given the Czech’s record against the Dutch in the last few major tournaments. Xavi was with me for no era penal and I remember that morning in LA very well. I took it hard and I don’t quite remember the following week and a half quite as well. So, I won’t be shedding any tears for their spot of bother.
Also, I remember watching Greece win this tournament in 2004. I’m all for these upsets.
Lastly, how great is it seeing the fans in attendance? It’s amazing. Football is nothing without supporters and I’ve longed for it so much.
I told the wife. The missed penalty was gonna bite Switzerland in the ass. She got up to go to the bathroom. When she got back France was up 2-1.
I knew it would give a huge confidence boost after Lloris saved the penalty.
Spectacular goal from Pogba…the celebration was cringeworthy though…
What a comeback from the Swiss…and Coman just hit the crossbar
Two brilliant games today lol
What a brilliant day of footy,, wonder what France will do with Deschamps
tough break for France, I think they were already looking ahead to Spain. I hope the Swiss can maintain that level of intensity v Spain.
Well, someone is getting sacrificed.
Me when I saw the little German girl crying – “aaaawwwe”.
Some English football fans-
what weak penalty kicks. very disappointing.
