As for the next steps, I’m with Zizou on proceeding with another season on fm24 with some form of updated rosters. Zooka thinks we should be able to find an updated one across the FM world that will work for us.

Man, SI really fucking blew it. I just hope this delay is fucking worth it. However, if Civ 7 is any indication, I’m not 100% convinced they’ll pull it off and make everyone happy. The developers of that game had 10 fucking years and over half of their fanbase hates the new game. I know I’m not buying it.

Oh, and the developers of Civ 7 are charging over $100 for a game that doesn’t even feel done. These companies make some boneheaded decisions sometimes.
